Cua Lo introduce new kind of travel activities to visitors

In the tourist season 2011, Cua Lo Town, Nghe An province has welcomed two million visitors, up 8% and revenue from tourism reached 900 billion, up 24% compared to last year's tourist season.

Mr. Le Minh Thong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town,  said in the tourist season in 2011, the town will develop comprehensive solutions to best attract tourists and create satisfaction, peace of tourists’ minds coming to Cua Lo.

Accordingly, the town focused to strengthen State management over tourism in the province, intensify propaganda and advertisement of Cua Lo tourism, improve facilities for tourism development; develop tourism human resources, improve foreign language and understanding of cultural tourism for the reception staffs, ensuring public order and safety for tourists.

This year, Cua Lo Town coordinate with other travel businesses, outside the province of Nghe An that will improve the quality of existing tourism products and add some new types of tourism activities, including sport tourism, ecotourism and visiting the handicrafts village, marine products processing village. Those kinds of Vietnam tour productions and attractive many Vietnam tour company interesting in putting that on tour list to promote for inbound and outbound markets, it already harvested many success and withdraw experience lesson for next year season

Currently, the seafood processing villages in Thu Thuy ward, Nghi Tan is actively preparing the conditions for welcoming tourists. Come to this village, visitors not only visit the seafood processing but also manually choose to buy seafood such as shrimp, fish, squid, in the family that has prestigious tradition about marine and aquatic product processing in the area.

Cua Lo tourism festival will be opened on 30 / 4, opening the tourism season in Cua Lo, with the theme “Green, clean, nice, friendly, hospitable oriented to the tourism city”.
